We have 20K Easter eggs that will be dropped from a helicopter! It doesnt get cooler than that! Bring the kids out for a wonderful day of fun!

The Black Business March
Join us as we patronize black-owned business on the largest strip of black-owned businesses located right in Detroit! The Avenue of Fashion features a variety of shops and restaurants to choose from. There will be raffles and giveaways as well! See you there!

December 25 - Christmas Day
Today is Christmas Day!!!
Everyone is asked to post their favorite photo of your family enjoying Christmas and tag us on one of our social media pages

December 24 - Virtual Candle Light Christmas Eve Service
There will be a virtual candlelight Christmas Eve service held at 6:30pm on facebook live.
Each member can use their own candles or you can pick them up from the church on Thu. 12/10, Sat. 12/12 or Mon. 12/14 from 12pm-5pm on all days.

December 23 - Family Pajama Day
Each family will take pictures in matching pajamas. If pajamas are not matching please still post. Those who live alone are also encourages to participate.
Post your favorite picture on social media page(s) and tag the church (Central Baptist Church Detroit)

December 22 - Dinner on God
Central Baptist Church will feed our members and community starting at 4 PM until meals are gone.
Volunteers will assist with packing and distribution. If you would like to volunteer, please text “dinner” to 313-356-3386. Proper protective gear will be provided to all volunteers.
Volunteers will distribute the dinners on 7 Mile in front of the church until meals are all gone.

December 21 - Christmas Cookies
All members are encouraged to bake their favorite Christmas Cookies as a family.
Once your cookies are done, post them to your social media page(s) and tag Central Baptist Church (Central Baptist Church Detroit) in your post. And use the official 12 days of Christmas hashtag #12DaysCentral
December 20 - Virtual Christmas Family and Friends Day
All members of Central Baptist Church are encouraged to invite family and friends to join them for our virtual Facebook Live service online at 12:30 PM.

December 19 - Toy to the World 2.0
Central Baptist Church will distribute Toys to the students of MacDowell Preparatory Academy.
Each student will drive-through the parking lot, give their name to receive their toy.
We are asking all members to donate at least 1 toy. Please spend no more than $20.00 per toy. You can buy as many toys as you’d like. You can also make a donation and we will purchase the toys. Donations can be made on cash app, Tithely or via mail. Please note that your offering is for toy to the world.
Please drop your toys off at the church on Thu. 12/10, Sat. 12/12 or Mon. 12/14 from 12pm-5pm on all days.
We also need volunteers to assist with distribution and wrapping. Please register by texting “toy” to 313-356-3386

December 18 - Virtual Christmas Concert
Our Praise Team and band will provide us with a virtual Christmas Concert via Facebook Live at 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

December 17 - Drive-in Movie Night
Everyone interested in attending the drive-in movie will need to register.

There will be 2 shows at 5:30PM and 8pm to choose from, “Christmas Chronicles 2” and “The Star”
The Star will be showing at 5:30pm and the Christmas Chronicles 2 will show at 8pm.

December 16 - Gingerbread House Contest
Each contestant will bake or purchase a gingerbread house kit
Design your best Gingerbread House
All photos of your Gingerbread Houses must be emailed to events@experiencecentral.org by December 16, 2020 at 11:59 PM
We will post all of the submitted gingerbread to our facebook page and the photo that receives the most likes will be the winner. You can encourage your family and friends to like your house.
Voting begins on December 17, 2020 at 9 AM and all voting will end on December 17, 2020 at 9:00 PM
The winner will be announced at 9:30 PM
The winner will receive a $250.00 Christmas blessing.

December 15 - Memory Lanterns
Those who would like to honor loved ones who has made their transitions will join us on December 15, 2020 at 6:30 PM in the church parking lot.
You may honor the memory of any loved one you are thinking of during this holiday season no matter when they passed.
Each person will receive 1 (one) lantern to place their loved one(s) names on the top.
At 7:00 PM everyone will release the lanterns at the same time when instructed by Pastor Bolden.

December 14 - Christmas Stocking Contest
Each contestant will need a plain (basic) Christmas stocking of any color
Create your best Christmas Stocking design.
All photos of your Christmas Stockings must be email to events@experiencecentral.org by December 14, 2020 at 11:59 PM.
Voting begins at 9:00 AM on December 15, 2020 and all voting will end on December 15, 2020 at 9:00 PM on facebook.

PB's Pastoral Anniversary Outdoor Service
Register today for Central Baptist Church very own Pastor Robert E Bolden's Pastoral Outdoor Drive-In Service held August 16, 2020 (weather permitting). We are so excited to celebrate our leader and overseer. We are encouraging every member to give Pastor Bolden a gift of love from your heart. He has given so much of himself to us the church, community and family. Anything you decide to give is well appreciated (Pastor's Anniversary Committee).
Be sure to register the number of people that will be joining you in your vehicle. There are 3 services to choose from: 9 AM, 11 AM and 1 PM. You will be able to get out of your vehicle, but everyone must have on your mask and keep 6' away from the next person. You do not have to get out of your vehicle if you don't feel comfortable yet, but you do have this option to get out of your vehicle.
